The 883 sequel is underway. Sky crews have returned to Pavia to film "North South West East."

Since yesterday, one of the 106 pharmacies featured in "Con un deca" (With a Deca) has been located in Piazzetta Morosi. In that corner of the city, just steps from the Naviglio Canal , a set representing a medicine shop where there's no pharmacy has been erected, and filming for the sequel to the TV series dedicated to the popular musical group began this evening. Following the success of the first season of "Hanno ucciso l'uomo ragno," which was the most-watched series of the last eight years and swept the board of awards, Sky cameras are returning to the city to tell the second part of the story of Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto .

Preparations are underway to recreate the pharmacy in Pavia's main square for the sequel to 883.

"Nord Sud Ovest Est" is the title, in this case, taken from the second album by the two friends who made young people dream in the '90s. Confirmed for the sequel are the talented Elia Nuzzolo and Matteo Oscar Giuggioli, winners of the Nastro d'Argento Speciale Award for Best Newcomer of the Year, who will once again play Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto. They will be joined by several extras, both young and old, who participated in castings in recent weeks and are ready for their moment of fame.

The city has also prepared to be back in the spotlight, as it did in the summer of 2023. In the highly anticipated first episodes of the TV series produced by the Groenlandia production company and directed by Sydeny Sibilia , Pavia , with its squares and alleyways, served as the backdrop to the story of two young men chasing fame, and is now ready to welcome back the two singers who have finally achieved success. The people of Pavia are somewhat less so, proud of the city's image, but temperamentally impatient. With Piazza Ciceri transformed into a "base camp" for the crew, there has been no shortage of criticism from downtown residents who fear they will struggle to find parking when returning from work.
